My family used to go here when I was a kid! I moved back a few years ago from LA and was so happy to find out it's still family owned and still delicious!! My husband and I love the Ku Ting Crispy Chicken, the Orange Chicken (tastes home made and fresh), the Chow Fun with Beef - my husband talked me into this one and I'll never go back to lo mein! The beef with broccoli is great. The Egg rolls are super fresh and delicious- totally hit the spot. If you're in the SLO area - this is the best spot for sure. Portions are great, service is nice and always pretty quick for how busy they get. It's a casual spot- great for family, group gatherings, or just take out!

Yum!!! The only way to eat Chinese food is to eat it fresh at the restaurant. And this place always does it right! Friendly and fast service. Small little place but they work fast to fit people in. Spicy honey shrimp, Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, pork chop Suey, dried fried green beans. I sleep like a baby after! Haha

We drove into Shell Beach to pick up some unexpectedly delicious food. The crispy garlic beef was not crispy at all but was very tasty nonetheless. The barbecue pork was served free of a pool of grease. I thank you. Sesame Three Flavors was also a hit with the family. As well as the potstickers and shrimp fried rice. The order was a take out, but it felt nice in the restaurant. We'll be back We ate it out of take out boxes but will eat in next time for sure! Pictures soon

The food is good. Definitely worth driving for. Prices are up a bit. $20 for shrimp and snow peas. $17 for king pao chicken. $7 to make it a dinner ( soup, egg roll, shrimp appetizer, rice). Sort of a dive, but who cares if the food is good. Service is excellent. 15 steep stairs to the restroom.

This place never seems to change. It is good for Chinese standards, kung pao, chow mein. Maybe Mei will never be a place that completely knocks your socks off, but you can count on it. We need places like that!

Mei's is 10 out of 10. We had the whole place to ourselves for a bit before it picked up for the dinner rush. We started with appetizers and moved on to a boat load of shared plates for our main meal. Everything came out hot and tasty. We are already taking about a return trip to Mei's in the near future! Dishes that were exceptionally good: Sweet and sour chicken Szechuan eggplant Potstickers Chicken and broccoli
